George Duke - Faces in Reflection (1974 MPS CD)
With my all respect to George Duke. When he worked with Frank Zappa, FZ created his best music and i think a big part of this merit is because of George Duke. R.I P. Capricorn https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-eFXZzyEnc8
Gruppo d'Improvvisazione Nuova Consonanza - Feed-Back (1970 RCA this re)
John Irwing uses in one of his novels the word "bottom suction" or something which draws you under water and you can't help drowning. This Feed-Back is such like dangerous music because of it's bottom suction. It begins with the first drum hits and does not release you before the end. Now when i know that Ennio Morricone is a member of the band i begin to see some bad guy blowing in his gun pipe and i begin to be able to breathe under water. Is that the feed back...? from a an artificial cage bird back to fish? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lHpumFSr6t8
Octopus Syng - Reverberating garden Number 7 (2014 Mega Dodo)
May be the best light psych album from any band from Finland. Reviews seem to say there is a Syd Barret effect in OS:s music but i'm not quite sure of that. Ok, if there is some, anyway it does not mean they try to imitate either Barret's sounds or his meanings or his thoughts. They do their own music at the same time honouring from afar where they may gain their influences. Very nice music. Made with intelligent good taste.

Tasavalan Presidenti - Lambertland (Love Records 1972 this re Svart)
After Wigwam's "Being" Lambertland is on my personal list the second best music album by any Finnish band. The music is mostly composed by the guitarist of the group Jukka Tolonen and there are some elements of his forthcoming solo album "Tolonen" which is on my top ten Finnish list too. Lambertland is nicely zappaesque. As a Zappa fan it is so good to here his influence on this. Lamertland is by all means a quality effort and not any zappa imitation at all, even if i'm right most of the band members were Zappa fans. The musicianship reaches the highest level you can imagine. For really prog-jazz and zappa lovers: Lambertland is worth an exploration. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t91dLyvNGTk
The Best Geneuine Unaffected Psych Album
Found this after some time again and have been listening to the whole sunday when reading a book and surfing on net. There is nothing affected or forced in this music. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DprmuBbi0N0

Yays & Nays - S/T (1968 this re)
It is hard to understand why some collector are ready to pay even over 500$ to own an original mint copy of this. The music on this is quite okay, but nothing special. This is one of those overrated or i should say over valued albums for collectors with big money.

Aquila - The Aquila Suite (1970 RCA this re Klimt)
Just grazy.. how there still exists this kind of ol music i'm nuts about. I now again wonder why this for example great group did not achieve more.. a career for example. Only one record album and then the state of being forgotten. Enjoyable!

Wild Butter - S/T (1970 UA)
I today got another copy of this vinyl album. I picked my first copy in 2009 here in Finland and this was sent me from Brooklyn. I have rewieved this on this blog in Finnish in 2009 and gave then 8,3 out of 10. Very good/interesting record endeed and the grazy/surrealistic, a bit Magritte style front cover art by painter Hans Weingaertner (1893-1970) is something i really like too.

Sandy Hurvitz - Sandy's Album Is Here At Last (1968 Verve)
I love this album. Very pure, intensive and relaxing. Sunday morning music. Fornunatelly FZ did not have time to screw this up. Sandy may still think she was cheated by FZ but she one day will realize the truth. One of my top ten albums. Tree of Trees: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OQIC0LO8o3g
Rare one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TcOd7SfFxS4
Toe Fat - Two (1970 Rare Earth)
I find this even better than their debut. Guitar driven hard rock at its best. (Here without Hensley and Kerslake). A New Way: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cM9wo7N9ZVY

Toe Fat - S/T (1970 this re by Soundvision)
A head-fingferprint of fortcoming Heep with a flavour of Purple? Sounds very good. I like. Hipgnosis?
Kevin Ayers - Joy Of A Toy (1969 Harvest this re)
Quite extraordinary/peculiar stuff from early Canterbury underground. Playfull. Very worth giving a spin or three. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L3qqfsDvcc0
Next day: I have listened this aagin and again today and i have the same kind feeling when i found Frank Zappa's music first time, I never got bored and allways found something new in it. I know there must be over fifty records on my top ten list but i have to try to cram this there too. Especially the whole side two is a perfect entirety of pure ingeniousness.

Phantasia - S/T (1972 this re 2013 World In Sound)
Phantasia is a mirage. No, it's not it's a miracle. It must best one of the bestest light prog psych albums there exists and are still to be found. This album seems to be extremely rare as original copy and i wonder where they found these sharp sounds on this excellent repro. I have talked to the wind and now i have to talk to the moon too. Ifg you were a hippie yoy had to talk to everything you could not catch. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ow0xXZsaUHQ
Shaggs - Philosophy Of The World (1968)
Better than Frank Zappa? I found Shaggs when randomly browsing Fuzz Acid and Flowers. Then I went straight on YT and listened the full Philosophy of the World three times last Sunday. I found myself laughing well-wishing and feeling very good. Today on Thursday i got my own cd copy of the album. I think i understand why FZ liked this. This is where music begins. After listening tons of music, this album is a practical tool to calibrate the musical area on one's cortex. This is a bless and relief. Thank You Wiggin sisters and parents.

Ruben and the Jets - For Real (1973 Mercury)
Better than Beatles? Produced and arranged by FZ. Doo-wob and elsewhere beyond apostrophe and uncle meat. I like to listen to this kind of odd mixed music FZ's fingerprint on it. Done...is.
