She was a coffee house and night club singer on the New York area. It is claimed that she had a song repertoire in 27 different languages. Perhaps that was because she was a travelling person, hitchhiking across America, Canada and Europe for example. In 1968 she had also written a cookbook. I got this information from the program leaflet of The Mariposa Folk Festival in 1968 in Canada.
