Ari Vaahtera - Mustat Rummut (1987 Not on Label / Self released)
In 70s he played bass guitar and guitar and was a vocalist in Kalevala and Bluesounds. Ari's singing reminds me somehow of the style of Ismo Alanko (Hassisen Kone). Mustat Rummut is 80's modern (laconic?) synth pop (side A) or post punk style (side B) taking something from Duran Duran, Talking Heads, Pet Shop Boys, Gabriel, Human League, 80s Bowie and so on.
Vaarallisia valloituksia 1991. Pleasant and well made music. These two albums were a bit surprise to me - in a positive meaning.
Brewer & Shipley - Weeds (1969 Kama Sutra)
Country music from between two houses and neither one of them is pink or big.
Angel Pavement - Maybe Tomorrow (2013 Tenth Planet)
A compilation of quite nice British baroque pop but too honed to be my kind of music. Funny thing is that song Maybe Tomorrow begins with same theme later known better from Chicago's 25 or 6 to 4.
P.F.M. Premiata Forneria Marconi - Cook (1974 Manticore)
Excellent live album and Alta Loma Five Till Nine is super.

Joe Beck - Nature Boy (1968 Verve)
Wow! Base guitarist Joe Beck's first album from 1968 is just great! The picture on the cover does not tell anything at all about what the inside of the album is. This is quite obscure mix of psych and jazz and his base guitar playing is maybe best i have heard before. Why did he not play with Zappa. That would have been super!

Special songs indeed. Very nice album. Maybe a forgotten pearl. This is second time I found a copy of it here in Finland.

Björk - Vespertine (2016 One Little Indian LP)
In 1977 i went to military service for almost a year. Since it I mostly listened to progressive rock and other early 70's rock. Then came AOR and Punk and I dropped by the wayside. Over 20 years I was not very interested in 80's and 90's music. It was boring. I used to listen to my old records. It was in 2001 or so, when I bought this album on CD and it was a new beginning to my music listening. Vespertine's meaning to me musically is about the same that Frank Zappa's music was to me when I was 15 in 1973. I woke up to believe, there is always interesting new music to come. Even it may take 25 years.
The Beatles - 1962-1970 (1973 Apple)
I don't own many Beatles albums but have always wanted to get these two compilations in mint shape. And now... here they are and the first pressings. 20 euros each.
Julian's Treatment - A Time before This (1970 Decca)
Once again... yet another copy of this album arrived my collection. I give this 10 out of 10. And this cover of the US pressing is much finer than the original English.
Phluph - Phluph (1968 Verve)
This is Phluph, not Bluff. I give this album 9 out of 10. At first i say they sound when singing together, like Moody Blues. Fluff is organ driven playful psychedelic pop with some slight proto-prog elements. Excellent album.
Bear - Greetings, Children of Paradise (1968 Verve)
This Bear was from New York. If Grapefruit ( below) sounds like The Beatles, Bear sounds more artistic than both Grapefruit and Beatles. Maybe it is because there are some jazz elements i like a lot. Psychedelic beatlesque sound yes, with jazzy groove. Ps. Nice to hear in the the end of the side one them playing Eric Satie's Gymnopedie, which happens to be my number one favourite classic piano themes. Very pleasant album yes. 9,5/10
Grapefruit - Around (1968 Dunhill)
Nice album sounding like The Beatles. A counterblow to British invasion? No! Whatever I anyway really enjoy this first album from them. I also have a copy of their second one called Deep Water and have to say it is from deep, a total disaster.
Wadsworth Mansion - S/T (1971 Sussex Kama Sutra)
A bit country flavoured disappointment. I had to buy this today at a record fair 'cause i had never before stumbled upon any copy of it before. Nice to own this and i'm going to give it some rounds before the final judge. They were from Rhode Island (wiki). Edit. Today i listened the other side of the album and have to take back some my words. Side 2 begins with song I Like It and it sounds so good. I like it.

Brotherhood - Same
Picked this at a record fair here in Finland for 5e. I thought it maybe was some kind of xian related music but i fortunately was wrong. This is light easy pop psych. Sounds good. I like to go record fairs and find there low price records i have never met and at home make some investigations on them.
Steamhammer - Mountains (Brain)
This is full music. Maybe Stemhammer's best album. Hold that tarain!
Sukellusvene - Vesi- ja lintumusiikkia (1978 this re SVART)
Someone tries occasionally to be like Pekka Pohjola on the base. Nice fusion music, maybe a bit just learnt and copied but i raise my hat anyway. Much is mixed on this. Zappa, Corea, Oldfield. Duke. Wigwam. etceettera... Not very original but good music of genre's anyway

Blonde On Blonde - Reflections On A Life 1971 (this re by wah wah)
Very good album. I happen to on an original copy of this and have reviewed this earlier on this blog. Fortunately there is Mika Tamminen 's Aikakone Antikva in Tampere and i was lucky to get a new Wah Wah copy of it.
Your Gang - The Daily Trip
This album was for years available on the wall of my favorite local record shop for 60e. I did not buy it and now i got it for 5e at a record fair here in Finland. I think it really is worth 5e even it may be quite rare.
Americas First Family of Fine Recordings. Be happy you got FZ and Beatles.
